Plymouth Good Morning USA Parade
Looking for a traditional 4th of July parade? The Plymouth Good Morning USA Parade is the perfect Independence Day event for you! This patriotic celebration features a towering 25-foot Uncle Sam balloon, live musical performances, carnival activities, colorful floats, marching bands, fife and drum corps and veterans’ participation. With around 1,500 participants, this parade is a spectacular cultural event that brings together diverse communities from across the Detroit area.
Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Plymouth, the Plymouth Good Morning USA Parade attracts an estimated 10,000 spectators each year. The festivities kick off on July 4 at 9:00 a.m. on Main Street in downtown Plymouth, with the parade traveling a scenic 1.25-mile route down the street. Don’t miss this vibrant celebration of freedom and community spirit!

Salute to America in Greenfield Village
The Fourth of July is the perfect time to learn more about our country’s history and Salute to America is a special Independence Day celebration event not to be missed. From July 2-5, at Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra offer an unforgettable evening of incredible sounds of blues, jazz, town, ragtime and choral singing, just 20 minutes from Downtown Detroit.
Salute to America also includes food trucks, craft beer, military fife and drum parade and rides on the historic 1913 Herschell-Spillman carousel. For the grand finale, spectacular fireworks and cannon fire will light up the night sky as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performs, enlivened by Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overtune.”

Detroit turns up the heat with the 4th of July Block Party, an electrifying celebration that takes over three of downtown’s trendiest venues: The Annex, Love & Tequila and Brass Rail. With one ticket, attendees will gain access to all three West Adams Avenue venues for a night of non-stop music and dancing.
4th of July Block Party featuring 15 of Detroit’s best DJs, VIP bottle services, curated food and many surprises. The event starts at 9:00 PM and goes until 2:00 AM.
