Month of Design
This is a call for all the American artists and designs to get ready for Detroit’s Month of Design. Every September, the city is covered with art and innovation in a series of events that includes interactive expositions, panel discussions, conferences and workshops.

African World Festival
In Detroit, we celebrate heritage with the African World Festival. This magnificent event brings together African community members and visitors from all over the world in this unique cultural experience that includes live music, dance performance, traditional cuisine, handmade crafts and much more!

This is the 41th edition of the African World Festival. It is specially designed to represent and exchange cultural information about African traditions, art and history. The appointment is from July 12th to 14th at Detroit’s Hart Plaza.
Thankisgiving Parade
The iconic Thanksgiving Parade is one of the most anticipated events in Detroit! This worldwide attraction is free and open to all the public. The parade includes amazing things such as life balloons, spectacular floats, Big Heads, national marching bands, celebrities and many more surprises!

The American Thanksgiving Parade begins at Woodward and Kirby and ends at Campus Martius Park. This year is the 98th Annual edition and we are ready to enjoy this unforgettable family event. Don’t forget, the parade begins Thanksgiving morning at 8:45 a.m. on November 28.
